📖 How to use this generator
Follow these rules to ensure your schema is valid and avoids penalties.
1
Core WebApplication
Enter your tool's name, URL, and description. Keep the name aligned with your page's H1 tag rather than using site branding.
Example: Online Hash Generator
2
Breadcrumbs
Map out the hierarchy of your page. Breadcrumb schema must map directly to real, indexable URLs. Avoid adding folder pathways that result in 404 errors.
3
FAQs
Add frequently asked questions. Google may display these as an expandable accordion directly in search results (Rich Results).
4
Product vs. LocalBusiness
Reserve Product schema for ecommerce items. Only use LocalBusiness if you have a physical brick-and-mortar storefront. Free digital tools should use WebApplication or Organization.
5
⚠️ Review Snippets Warning
Do not include aggregateRating unless your page visibly displays those exact reviews on the front end.
Google Penalty Risk: Adding hardcoded, self-assigned, or invisible ratings violates Google's structured data guidelines and can result in a manual action.
Why Structured Data Matters in 2026
Search engines no longer just read text; they look for context. Structured data (Schema Markup) is a standardized format that translates your HTML into a language Google perfectly understands.
By generating proper JSON-LD, you help Google identify:
- The Entity: Is this a product, an article, a local business, or a software tool?
- The Attributes: What is the price? Who is the author? What are the reviews?
- The Hierarchy: Where does this page sit within your site's architecture (Breadcrumbs)?
This results in Rich Results—the enhanced search snippets with star ratings, pricing, FAQs, and breadcrumbs that dramatically improve your Click-Through Rate (CTR).
