Your title is the #1 factor for both click-through rate (CTR) and search ranking. Our analysis revealed clear patterns.
Optimal Title Length: 47–55 Characters
Titles in this range had a 23% higher CTR than shorter or longer titles. Mobile truncation happens at ~55 chars.

The "Curiosity Gap" Formula
Top-performing titles use one of these patterns: Numbers ("7 Ways..."), How-To ("How to Rank..."), Controversy ("Why X Is Dead"), or Urgency ("Before It's Too Late"). Combine two for maximum effect.
