SEO Tips

  • Track keywords weekly, not daily.
  • Prioritize improving top 5–10 rankings.
  • Focus on long-tail keywords for faster wins.
  • Compare positions to competitors.
  • Watch for sudden drops — they signal issues.

100% Private & Secure: All ranking data is generated locally in your browser — no API keys, no server calls, no tracking. Your domain and keywords never leave your device. For real Google data, use Google Search Console (free) or a rank-tracking API like SerpApi.

What Is a Rank Tracker?

A rank tracker monitors where your website appears in Google search results for a specific set of keywords. Instead of manually searching "seo tools" every morning and counting down the page to find your site, a rank tracker does it automatically and produces a clean table of positions over time. This lets you spot trends — are you climbing? Slipping? Stuck on page 2? — and make informed decisions about where to invest content and link-building effort.

Professional rank trackers can cost $50–$500 per month, which is overkill for small sites and freelancers. That's why we built this free tool — it gives you the layout, trend charts, and PDF export of a paid tool, using simulated data so you can see exactly how the interface feels before committing to a real data source.

Frequently Asked Questions

This tool uses deterministic simulation for demonstration purposes. The values are generated locally based on your domain and keywords using a hash function — the same inputs always produce the same output, so it's easy to compare sessions. For real live SERP data, you would need to integrate a rank tracking API or use Google Search Console (free).
Yes. Simply enter a different domain in the input field and click Track. The tool will generate a fresh simulated report based on the new domain name, and the previous session will be saved in your browser's local history list.
The demo supports up to 5 keywords at a time for clarity. You can modify the source code to track more if needed, or run multiple tracking sessions back-to-back. Each session appears separately in your history.
Yes. Click the Export PDF button in the results panel to download a summary report containing your tracked domain, average position, keyword count, top-3 and top-10 metrics, and generation timestamp. The PDF is generated client-side using jsPDF.
Absolutely. All processing happens client-side in your browser. Your domain and keywords never leave your device — nothing is uploaded to any server, and we don't have analytics access to the values you enter. The history is stored only in your browser's localStorage.
No. It generates simulated rankings for demonstration. For real data you should use Google Search Console (free, requires site ownership verification) or a paid rank-tracking API like SerpApi, DataForSEO, or Ahrefs API.
Weekly tracking is the standard for most SEO campaigns. Daily tracking is overkill — Google SERPs fluctuate naturally and you'll end up reacting to noise. Monthly tracking is fine for stable sites that don't publish content frequently.
Under 10 means you're on page 1 — where 90%+ of clicks happen. Top 3 positions capture the majority of traffic. An average position below 20 means significant SEO work is needed. Between 10 and 20 means "close" — a small content refresh or internal link often pushes those into the top 10.
Reviewed and maintained — This tool is transparent about its simulated data. The interface, chart rendering, and PDF export have been tested across modern browsers. Found a bug? Send us the case. Last reviewed: October 2026.
